Adeola Kamal Dairo

Adeola Kamal Dairo

Founder, Chair and CEO, Nigeria

Being the founder of LEARN, he was born legally blind with 10% vision.

He was diagnosed with bilateral optic nerve hypoplasia in Germany at the age of 14.

Adeola went on to study economics at the university of east London and then completed his masters degree at the university college of London UCL in international public policy .

He then went on to work with Barclays uk for three years before before joining Warwickshire vision support where he served as a member of the board of trustees for another two years.

Adeola has now returned to Nigeria with a mission and founded LEARN which works collaboratively with key stakeholders to end the ‘book famine’ for partially sighted and blind persons in Nigeria.

Stanley is the current president of the Nigerian association of the blind and has served in his role for over three years.

He is completely blind and has played a crucial role in advocacy, fundraising and inclusive projects in Nigeria for over 10 years.

Omotola Shogunle

Head of IT and operations, board member, UK

Omotola Shogunle is a distinguished software engineer and full-stack developer with expertise in accessible, scalable digital solutions. She specializes in frontend and backend development, contributing to design systems and inclusive technologies that improve user experiences for all.

As a Board Member of LEARN, Omotola advocates for digital accessibility in Nigeria, educating developers and supporting policies that promote equitable technology. She holds a Software Engineering degree from the University of Salford and is passionate about mentorship and empowering underrepresented groups in tech.

Beyond work, she enjoys traveling and contemporary art, drawing inspiration from diverse cultures. Through her role at LEARN, Omotola is committed to bridging the digital accessibility gap and fostering inclusive innovation.

Ibrahim Abdullahi Magaji

Ibrahim Abdullahi Magaji

Board Member, Nigeria

A pilot by profession, he underwent his professional pilot program at Phoenix East Aviation Daytona Beach Florida, after which he enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force and served outstandingly for 7 years.

During his time as a police officer, He also completed a bachelors degree in Criminology and security studies at the National Open University of Nigeria

Ibrahim is currently a Senior First Officer at Ibom Airlines, pursuing his life long dream of being a professional pilot.

He enjoys participating in athletic events and Flying airplanes.

With over five years of hands-on experience, I am the Co-Founder of M and M Roosters, a leading hospitality group, and Mega Star Group, both of which have consistently exceeded their targets year after year. My expertise spans across retail, hospitality, and business consultancy, where I have played key roles in human resource management, finance, and research and development.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Finance, both from Bournemouth University in the UK. Additionally, I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI), further reinforcing my commitment to professional growth and excellence in the financial sector.

In my capacity as Finance consultant, I oversee strategic financial planning and management, and actively contribute to shaping the future direction of our organization. My role extends to offering expert business and finance consultancy, helping businesses thrive through sound financial practices and strategic decision-making.

A highly organized and detail-oriented law lecturer with expertise in delivering academic legal content across various educational levels. Skilled in cybercrime, contract law, academic writing, legal counselling, and research consultancy. Experienced in module development and committed to imparting legal knowledge through strong communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities. Recognized for a strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse individuals in dynamic environments.

I hold a Master’s in International Business Law from Birmingham, City University, actively practice law, and specialize in privacy law and data protection. Additionally, I engage in extracurricular professional development through my involvement with the Global Alliance for Justice Education and Imabridge Africa. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and adaptable to fast-paced work environments. On my free time, I like to play basketball in various amateur leagues and also train in boxing and other martial art disciplines.

Professional Background Worked at the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) Limited Abuja as a junior project engineer for over two years, working on transmission and renewable energy projects.

Haruna Hassan Tukur is a dynamic finance professional and agribusiness leader with over a decade of experience spanning the oil and gas industry and sustainable agriculture. A graduate of Heriot-Watt University with a BA in Accountancy and Finance, Haruna has held strategic roles in financial operations, risk management, and corporate governance within the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), including at PPMC and NNPC Trading Ltd..

He is the Founder and CEO of Hafaz Integrated Farms Ltd, where he has spearheaded the cultivation of over 300 hectares, created 200+ jobs, and championed youth and women empowerment initiatives across Kebbi State Nigeria.

Haruna has facilitated multi-million-naira youth loans in partnership with Central Bank Of Nigeria and Sterling Bank Plc.

Internationally recognised, Haruna is a Global Youth Champion (GC4W, New York) a, Trailblazer in Sustainable Agriculture (West Coast Economic Summit, USA) and receiver of CEO’s Network Africa 30 Under 30 Award: For outstanding achievements in agriculture He has delivered TEDx talks, hosted a youth-focused business podcast, and secured foreign investments through global forums like the Private Investment Forum Worldwide.With a passion for youth empowerment and climate-resilient agriculture, Haruna continues to drive impactful change at the intersection of finance, sustainability, and community development outside of his professional pursuits
